    IMPORTANT ADVISORY: 
    For EPS-KOREA Workers with Signed Labor Contract 
    ADDITIONAL MANDATORY TEST FOR TUBERCULOSIS 
    REQUIRED BY KOREAN EMBASSY
    Starting 02 March 2016, all Filipino applicants applying for long-term visa (91 days above) have been required to submit additional tuberculosis (TB) exam certified by any of the hospitals designated by the Korean Embassy (refer to the list below). Filipino applicants who have previously stayed in Korea are also required to submit medical exam on tuberculosis if they plan to re-enter Korea.

    Pre-employment Medical Exam (PEME) result from DOH accredited medical clinic, valid passport, valid NBI, KLC Training Certificate should be submitted by the worker to the Government Placement Branch (GPB), Ground Floor, POEA EDSA corner Ortigas Ave.,Mandaluyong City, upon issuance of CCVI.

    Result of the additional Tuberculosis Examination: Direct Sputum Smear Microscopy (DSSM) from any of the designated hospitals will be forwarded to GPB, POEA by the hospital. Unlike in PEME, TB clearance is valid for one (1) year.
